The Abnorms (2020)
Six individuals from all around the world share their own unique insights into the current global plight.
Notion is an agoraphobic Brisbane woman; Cape is a paramilitary Victorian survivalist; Posterity is grieving Greek widower who lost her children; Trouble is an Irish drug addict struggling with visions of shadows; Sanity is an American working in a top secret facility studying a portal into the unknown; and Leak is working in a German installation talking with entities beyond death.
Together, they begin to piece together a truth behind what’s happening.
The Abnorms was filmed during the height of the Covid lockdown in Victoria throughout 2020.
Unable to get together, or go outside, each actor was provided a script weekly, asked to film their lines, and then submit them for each episode’s editing.
